I have tried to contact these guys a couple of times to potentially provide some assistance. I work for a large construction company who like to get involved in community projects. I have never heard a peep back from them though.

Sorry to hijack this thread.

If you want to get involved at Stafford Rangers, we could certainly use your services to improve the ground.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Or people might have saved thousands over lockdown and be happy to donate. 'Lockdown minted' is a phrase in regular use where I work as we have had the availability of copious overtime since March and not that much for us to spend our financial gains on!

The private sector/tax payer funded sector, is a wonderful thing...

निजी क्षेत्र / कर दाता वित्त पोषित क्षेत्र, एक अद्भुत बात है।
Die sektor wat deur die private sektor / belastingbetalers gefinansier word, is 'n wonderlike ding.
Kev lag luam ntiag tug / sau nyiaj ua haujlwm pub dawb nyiaj txiag hauv kev lag luam, yog qhov zoo tshaj plaws.
Sektor swasta / pembayar pajeg sektor, mangrupikeun hal anu saé.
Ny sehatra tsy miankina / mpiambina hetra dia mamatsy vola, zavatra mahafinaritra.

Passed the riverway link project on today’s walkies and they’ve made a lot of progress since the last time I was there. I’m not sure how much is recent though but it certainly looks like the project is progressing.

Gutted I’m missing this due to being away this weekend. I love this project and it’s efforts to bring boats back into Stafford.

Went along to it this morning and enjoyed a really good couple of hours . :) A nice peaceful 30-40 minutes boat trip followed by a mooch around the various stalls and look at the project so far.

(And the stile climbing practice last week was in vain , as the gates to the towpath were open today  )
