I thought some here may find this interesting, or may be able to spot their own accidents or accidents of people they know. Seems relatively few fatalities in stafford, but there's a lot of minor crashes.

(If you zoom out you can see the entirety of the UK)

There looks to be a number of pedestrian deaths on the M6. I wonder if that's people playing chicken or people with broken down vehicles who are not in their cars. interesting to see them all. They're pretty exact as well - a Nasty accident 3ish years ago outside my parents is bang on with the symbol.
As Tek so perfectly put it, interesting but grim.

Are you confusing pedestrian accidents (blue triangle) with "occupant of vehicle" accidents (purple triangle)...

No there's a pedestrian fatality (16 year old) just north of junction 14 and also a serious pedestrian accident just under the death symbol. If you follow the motorway along there's quite a few others as well, especially northwards. Surely it's got to be people out of their vehicles rather than "pedestrians"

Just driven down the M6 with signs telling us to slow down pedestrians in the road !!!
Coming back up the M5 one evening a few months back the VMS signs for a few miles near Bromsgrove were displaying "Slow- oncoming vehicle"!!! That's one you don't want to see... Fortunately didn't encounter the alleged oncoming vehicle.
