I haven't been in for a while, but upstairs at the antiques place was part of the shop - although, it could be converted, I suppose.

Stonegate are offering the tenancies on these three pubs, not selling the pubs. I haven't seen a list of the pubs they are actually selling.

Went into the market today. What the hell has happened to it. Food section has gone, hardly any stalls open in the general section. It’s terrible.

I was never one for going in the market so haven’t been in there for ages (probably years) but how bad it is has really shocked me.

The whole town is looking desolate.

Is it any surprise? That end up town is basically dead so it being there is a death sentence already.

To be honest, outside of the butcher and grocer I don’t think we’ve ever actually bought anything in there whenever we’ve gone in, so you do have to wonder if perhaps the demographic for what’s on offer is dwindling somewhat…
