Stafford shops closing - Turning into a ghost town?

That phone shop near McDonald's across from card factory seems to have vanished. There's just a card in the window saying he'll be back and to ring him if it's urgent.

Guess there's only so many phone repair shops this town can hold before the market peaks, gets over saturated and closures begin.

If memory serves me correctly I was walking through town a couple of weeks ago and the police were entering with some evidence bags....

Went into the market today. What the hell has happened to it. Food section has gone, hardly any stalls open in the general section. It’s terrible.

I was never one for going in the market so haven’t been in there for ages (probably years) but how bad it is has really shocked me.

The whole town is looking desolate.

Is it any surprise? That end up town is basically dead so it being there is a death sentence already.

To be honest, outside of the butcher and grocer I don’t think we’ve ever actually bought anything in there whenever we’ve gone in, so you do have to wonder if perhaps the demographic for what’s on offer is dwindling somewhat…
