Stafford shops closing - Turning into a ghost town?

I assume that whoever was building the row of houses on the stone road by co-operative street has gone bust. They seem to to have been half finished for ages.
Bit curious, they were started ages ago, over 12 months I think, juat the concrete footings and supplies had been done, used to go to a weekly meeting at the Barbanell centre, then it all stopped.

Couple of weeks ago they seemed to have stopped the building! Then days ago there was signs of work! Saw two blokes there last week! Perhaps its all stopped again?
To be continued? ;)

don't mention the blinds
When passing by en-route to the tip a couple of weeks ago, I saw 2 guys in hi-viz perusing the site. One fella was smoking a regular cigarette, as i was driving at 40plus mph I was unable to see if the geezer's smoke was black or white.....

The ratio of ‘workers’ to projects seems bizarre these days, if you just look at one short stretch of the Stone Road

Always less than a dozen on the never ending Redhill roundabout sewer road heightening epic

Two, on the rebuilding of the The Greyhound pub at Yarlet Bank

Zero replacing the Coop shop frontage by the Antelope

I was in there on Wednesday, it was deserted. I can't recall being aware of the accusation and subsequent conviction.

I am not entirely certain Narvana is closed. I was n there Wednesday and know somebody that was in there Friday, and a non custodial sentence wouldn't have an impact on a business would it?

Even for custodial it depends on how reliant they are on the owner’s presence.

But in general no… Might see a drop in revenue though.
