That still doesn’t substantiate any claim of my stating they’re a council employee.

I've learned a bitter lesson on here. When a joke doesn't work, you should retire to your study, there will be a clicking sound, not unlike the cocking of a revolver, but is in fact the cap being flicked off the top of a bottle of rum, and let the joke die in peace.

😛😝😜🤪

Considering Specsavers has only been closed what, six months?, A sizable hole has appeared in their ceiling. It's amazing how quickly buildings fail with no one maintaining them. Pretty sure water was pouring through the upstairs window the other week too.

Maybe the person responsible for maintaining the building needs glasses.

I've hated having to get my click & collect from the Sainsburys one in Stafford , the couple of times items haven't been available to order for the Hough one. I just find Stafford Sainsburys so depressing (probably not helped being in a bad mood having to walk through town to it).

I've always walked to the Hough Argos for things I could carry , and drive and park easily for bigger items. But won't bother with Argos anymore once it goes (whilst I'm still living in Stafford. )
