28th June, At Sainsbury’s, Me lucky in before happen, start abt 2pm to 2.30pm, 2.10pm light goes off!! I got all foods before all closed, so hard see dark, use my mob light ha, feel funny light off, they been try light on three times, Ah fail!! Not know now it open or no?,,,

Yes they did, and across most of town wilkos etc, lidl & Halford too.

I left at 3.15pm, it was just back on & they were about to let customers back in.

Apparently at one point they were selling burgers out of it while it was still branded as a bike shop?

But yeah… I wasn’t even aware they were still open?

Has Boppin Dolphin closed as a walk in fish & chip shop for good? It's been closed each time I've walked past , with the original paper sign inside the windows saying closed for technical issues (or something like that) now faded to just a blank piece of paper.
Just looked at their facebook page & saying open for delivery only.

Just looked at their facebook page & saying open for delivery only.

Seems to be a legal minefield, I think the partners have fell out or something, someone said the guy has left and gone to Telford, but think they've sold the name on , so they're doing delivery only atm , but I'm not sure where they're cooking the food. It's definitely not the shop in town so not sure if it can be trusted now.

When it reopened after lockdown it was never open in the early hours after kick out , which I found was a bizarre move, as it always used to be open till 4am. Maybe like the rest of the hospitality trade , no one wanted to work that late , and I suppose if you rely on the lunchtime only crowd , I doubt they were breaking even.
