I mentioned (and hubby recommended) a new Barber who had started Bida Barber business , operating inside The Foundry Gym in an earlier post. BUT , forget that....

After a couple of good haircuts , hubby has been let hubby down 3 times now with his appointment cancelled last minute .

His appointment before christmas also cancelled as informed he will no longer be operating from the gym premises by then..

At least I was reliable , although he couldn't rely on my cuts being 'perfect' each time. Used to depend what mood I was in ... He soon got himself booked into ST17 barbers by us for tonight after work , before I could wield the clippers .

Had a walk along Mill Street today. There was a notice on the window of the old thatched fruit & veg shop confirming it's going to be a funeral directors. I think it may have been mentioned here before.
Also noticed The Milk Stop. Not sure how long it's been there, but it looked quite busy inside. I didn't go in, but noticed the vending machines.

Used Magic Scissors for the first time last week & gets a vote from me.
Listened to what I wanted & paid attention to make sure it was all good before getting up and paying (cash Only there)

Had to look up 'Magic Scissors' as I had no idea what kind of shop it may be.

Barbers, most disappointing (for me!).

We now have “Cravers” and “Cravings” on Uber, Cravings charging £2.20 for a “scoop of cookie dough”

They are of course the same place, which doesn’t fill me with a huge amount of faith in the place if they’ve opened two almost-identical Uber kitchens.

Tbh , there's nothing stopping you running your own Uber from your own kitchen. Seen someone on YouTube doing it , and just using ready meals he got from a supermarket and said what a farce the whole thing and the quality checks were.

I still use Uber though , but most of the time these restaurants are hit and miss .

If I got a meal from Viverre that was as good as an M&S carbonara instead of whatever they served me I’d be pretty pleased to be honest

Enjoying a drop of red.

Vivere has undoubtedly got worse since before the first lockdown it has to be said.
