The old Bright House and Specsavers have both been let , work going on in the old shoe place and Edinburgh Woollen Mill, so looks like both of those have been let too . Good news for that end of town.

The old Mad Hatters tea room is now Rustica Express pizza and burger takeaway. Also notice the old cafe opposite has reopened as.... a cafe

Yes I can't help but think the random bullshit generator has been stripped down and re-lubed for this review...

I love how he managed to get a pic of the pizza on the paddle after it came out of the oven, even before he decided to write the review....

Whilst I wish it well, it has to be said many of those starting new businesses in town not only show little imagination but no clue whatsoever that if you open the same type of business that has previously failed time and time again on or near your site, the likelihood is you will follow the same fate.

There's been a few times recently where I wished I could get a pizza for lunch on a Saturday while out with the boy so I'll be looking forward to giving it a go, but some googling suggests it only opens at 6pm which scuppers those plans.

A night time food joint in an area that has no night time traffic?

I'm not sure if those hours are correct, but either way you don't really need footfall these days , most of these places these days are just fronts, and they survive off Uber eats and the like. Still seems daft.

Handy for heading home if you live in the North end but I'm guessing they expect must of their business from online

A quick look online shows they fall into the catagory of only offering 2 veggie options ' one with too much veg, and a spicy one with too much veg.

Its just a take away counter too by the look of it walking past last week, no viable seating.
