Did not see any British tourist’s when I went but of course I doubt that suits your dislikes ?
I never said you did, just pointing out that the uk as a general rule has an incredibly bland and boring palete. You find the most brits around the worst food, we're the sort to travel deep into Asia and go to McDonald's.

A perfect example is that British favourite all inclusive, troughs of food made to the cheapest price possible which people then feel obligated to stay and eat because they've paid for it.

The one by us on the hough is very popular, I can only imagine one there will be too.
Will be interesting to see.... If you're say traveling north on the a34 and leaving Stafford on the Stone road, will you want to go out of your way that much to get to it....

p Jr and one of his French friends drove into Aix yesterday. The friend suggested they have lunch at McDonald's. As this is a family forum, I am unable to type his reply.

It is only 15 seconds from the redhill roundabout so not that far, and tbh i dont think their demographic is primarily locals going for a meal out, With 17 E/V charge points this is aimed at the business users either locally or dropping off the M6 to top up the car and have a few lattes.
Sites like this are the vanguard for the broader acceptance of E/V, and soon every m/way junction will have similar sites like this.

I walked past Rustica Express pizza and burger takeaway this morning with the daughter. Whilst the sign was clearly new, nothing else looking at it gave me the feeling of "ooh i must try this place sometime...." from the shoddy menus printed and stuck up with cellotape to the ramshackle counter put-together....it just looked odd....

then again ask me after 8 pints on the way home and I'd probably say it looked mint...
