Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the new shop that has recently opened at the junction of Browning Street and the A34, next to Caprino's Pizza, has spelt Foregate incorrectly . The large sign above the door "Forgate Street Mini Market" in massive blue capital letters! I'm sure one of the previous businesses in the same building also had an obvious spelling mistake above the door but I think it was corrected. I mean, how does this kind of elementary mistake happen?
Does it matter. It'll probably only be there for a year....sadly, no businesses seem to thrive in there

They do it hoping someone will call the local papers then they get free publicity.
The 'fonegaint' did it on the high street

Apparently it was intentional, well, so it's been said, and it worked if it was ? . A massive thread on Facebook about it, and we're talking about it.

It's an odd place for such a business though. If you're walking that road , you've already passed the polish shop, lidl and BP before you reach it, and if you're walking the other side , you've already passed a news agents. Suppose they might get some people from browning street , but seems somewhat floored, also , they seem to shut fairly early.

Lots of kids and families from the boxing / dance / martial arts classes and lots of flats up that way too.

Apologies if I've missed the posts but what going to be in the unit(s) that have sprung up opposite the Tesco express on Stone road ??

Planning submitted for a bowling alley in the units next to the river, between the cinema and Nando's
Interesting…

I suppose it might get a bit more traction than TenPin depending on how they handle it? These days it seems more modern hangout-esque bowling alleys like LANE7 are the in thing rather than the more traditional affair.
