Plans were submitted at the end of 2019 (still showing as Awaiting Decision) to convert the building to a self storage place.

The unfinished structure next to the old Job Centre has been taken by Clifton Trade Bathrooms (according to the submitted plans). Yesterday there were shop fitters working in the empty shop building behind the old Job Centre too.

I was in there a few times when it was an 'active' place. Also, somewhere, there might still be a model of that thyristor valve near the bottom of the page. I made it, with others. Typical of the management standards of the time, it needed to be available for transport by Friday evening, but nobody bothered to do anything about it until Thursday morning and it turned into an overnight job.

Under protest, 'they' agreed to supply us with tea and sandwiches. On their arrival, we were presented with a tea pot and told "I could only get one tea bag". This turned out to be a tea bag the size of a small cushion, intended for use in a tea urn, and it wouldn't fit into the pot, so we had to drizzle boiling water through it very carefully.

I see Dweeb was still commenting up to and including that post.
He's the one that ALLEGEDLY went into the attic space of the old St. Georges building and ALLEGEDLY nicked the model from the display of the building and grounds hidden up there. The one that the patients had a hand in making years before.
He's also allegedly nicked stuff from other urban explors he's taken part in, and at one time was allegedly selling them on EBay.
