Here's a face from the past (hopefully, if the upload works). Not sure where he is now but if anyone sees him let know about the get together and get contact details.

Excellent - but, verbal warning for no overshoes.

You could try the Imgur route, as suggested in my recent email...

Excellent work - you must have been taught by a competent lecturer. :eng101:

Gil Shearing, Paul Thomas and Clem Ellis - with Les Place shaking John Nosworthy's hand.

Paul Thomas served his time same time as me and Clem Ellis was charge hand under Johnny Stone foreman. Both nice guys

The main workshop in those days was on the Bank by the old training School we shared with the Millwrights the Pattern shop was next door and Store 5 was further down

It has come to my attention, courtesy of some eagle-eyed spotting by @gilbert grape raising the possibility, and followed by a trawl of obituary notices, that, unfortunately, Jim Cranston is no longer with us.

A man who really understood money - I remember him working out, after he had a heart attack in the mid 1980s, just exactly how long he had to live in order to be winning on his annual prescription prepayment certificate...

Together, we did some excellent practical jokes on people - some of which I still can't really admit to...

Just to let you all know, the next Switchgear Gathering will be held in 6 - 7 weeks time.
Don't say you haven't been told, don't say you forgot, don't say "I must make a note of these dates".
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Details will be on here in a few weeks time.

If you'd posted that earlier, then I could have told John Woolams - saw him in town today - possibly for only the fifth time that I've ever actually laid eyes on him.

I remember the shock of seeing him the first time and realising that Massa John was actually a real person....

I have his phone number so he'll know if he's at home.

Massa John - I still find it difficult to believe that he's an actual real person...

..I had always imagined that the messages I had from him for fifteen years had started their journey from the heart of Africa on a cleft stick carried by a messenger boy..
