Dead of night in the Medical Block...?I remember being asked to clean out the heating ducts (in the dead of night)
of dead mice in the old medical block by the foundry, they built a new one
shortly after, opposite the cricket ground and turned the old med into a giant fridge.

Frank Beardmore once confessed to me that he had insisted on doing the measuring for a set of really expensive velvet curtains that his wife wanted, as he didn't trust the woman who came to the house to measure the giant picture window that they were intended for - and he ended up with a foot of curtain lying on the carpet....Can anyone recommend anywhere that will shorten curtains?
