Hell they may even decide to do the traffic light pothole on Weston road that we have all been driving around for the last 2 years. :ohno:
No chance of that in the foreseeable future. They’ve blown the budget on throwing some tarmac into the bottom of the hole on the top of the railway bridge on Newport Road. It isn’t full yet but at least you can’t see the trains through it now.

I have visions of a tarmac stalagmite on the track under the bridge.

There used to be (?) a small pothole on Riverway, near the Fairway junction, in the 1980s. Nothing ever seemed to come out of it, it just got hammered further down by the traffic. About two or three times a year, a bucket full or two of tar used to be rammed into it. I used to wonder how big the lump of tarmac under the road had become over the years.

There are roadworks and temporary traffic lights on St. Leonard's Ave for the next week - so if you use that as a cut though I'd best avoid it for a bit.

Yes piss off!

Good riddance assume it's something to do with the Fair-ways, or maybe not.

Whilst out walking the dog this afternoon I viewed a BT Openreach driver negotiating the Hough retail park roundabout with one hand whilst holding a mobile phone in the other. I've scoured their website but they don't seem to have any way to feed this sort of behaviour back. Any ideas folks ?

About the only way you might get a response is via the 'chat' here - https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/when-to-get-in-touch-with-openreach/complaints-policy - click the icon in the bottom right.

Snarl-up in Gnosall - one-way lights between the roundabout and the old railway line - not the best application of traffic management that you might find.

Wolverhampton road was closed just , from j13 up to Penkridge. Just access to frontages.

M6 was down to one lane northbound there as well when I came up it at 8pm ( bit of a panic stations wondering whether I'd manage to get off that exit , as only the fast lane open. But had an escape route at the junction)

Avoid Beaconside at moment , between Sandon Road and Marston Road.

I've just been turned around by coppers with blue flashing lights.

Could see lorry half way across the road but didn't stop to see what else
