Google Traffic suggests that the Showground queues start around the hospital and the MOD gate, or Amerton, in the east.

Just come back from a bike ride round Tixall, Great Haywood & Hixon etc. Never seen traffic like it trying to get to the Showground. Madness on the streets....

I was told by someone who went to the show that the main and overflow carparks were completely full and people had also had to park down the main road.

Yeah, though it felt oddly sparse…

A lot of the usuals weren’t there, I was rather disappointed by the lack of FroYo

Another food courier spotted this morning driving with no tax.... its almost a pre-requisite...

The staggering thing is the car they were driving costs £20 a year to tax....

I checked online....
We've had a few situations on the Crossings estate where vehicles cut through from the end of Salt Avenue onto the estate. Its usually mopeds but there was one where a small Toyota supermini did it. I took the number plate and checked on the gov.uk (https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/) site as part of reporting it to the police.
Following that I've noticed more and more that there's a great % of food couriers that either don't drive with Road tax, an MOT or scarily both.

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
I didn't think it was possible to drive a car through there.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Through the "path" bit no, but if you go to the right (coming off salt avenue) you can squeeze through to the left of an established tree....

It needs to be a supermini as anything wider won't make it....
Excellent, I'll give that a try next time there's a jam on the Wolverhampton Road.

Loads of road closures this Sunday for the Ironman. One I'm not sure about is the Weston Road which seems to have "Open Westbound" on it. So that means it is one way? only the whole road is marked green as an alternate route. I need to go toward Uttoxeter on Sunday so this event is a pain as it blocks off Baswich Lane/Tixall Road.

So only dickheads will drive through then.
