corporation street got to be a contender for stafford's most destroyed road. Still always gets missed off the resurfacing job list.

They're doing Parkside soon.

They resurfaced my road last year so not sure why it's needs da treatment as it's hardly worn out yet.

And they're closing the roads for two treatments which are two days apart.

There's sumat going on down Crooked Bridge tho. God knows what, cos there's still 100s of potholes.

I think (hope) the second one is where they actually finish the job, after the cars have dragged the stones all around Stafford

They have actually properly resurfaced the crossing bump outside the station, nice and smooth now.
However looks like they are now starting the roundabout next week for 3 weeks (I think it said).

It would seem that the dual carriageway on beaconside is only a single lane in each direction, the physical separation makes it a 'dual' carriageway.

The plans show it as two lanes in each direction although I must admit the actual road they're building doesn't look very wide.

If it isn't actually two lanes what is the point of the work and disruption? Not that 300m of dual carriageway is going to make much difference.

Not traffic but parking, it seems the council have increased its parking charges, £1.30 for an hour, £1.90 for 2 hours.
