Stafford Walking Street

it was a licensed event and therefore they could stop whoever they didn't like. Can this be correct?

Events where alcohol is served have to be licenced. A number of public and private areas where events are held have licences which come into force when events are in progress. This area has at least 3 licenced market squares, several licenced lengths of street, a variety of licenced fields, a licenced lake ... Effectively they are occasional premises licences and licensing laws & regulations apply to them when events are taking place.

The Walking Street is on today. It's the first time that I've ever seen it. Is this what it's normally like?

Was there earlier for a feed of Greek food (having perviously posted on here that I don't like the stuff!!). Was a good hour or so I thought. Much like the one in September. That is the limit of my regulatory for the event, for what it's worth.
