Stairs....

Looking to swap the old spindles and handrails with some trendy chrome and glass.
I've viewed plenty of pictures however I think this sort of thing needs to be seen in the flesh So the question is where locally (1hr or so drive) might I find showrooms with suchlike on display.

Furthermore I have the usual 14 steps then a turn along an 18ft landing so any help in how long it would take a decent joiner to complete such a task ?......
