Station car park

Parked in there last thursday when picking my old man up from the station. Very tight in there, I have a small car (focus) and it was tricky manoeuvring out of the car park. I wouldn't like to take a large american car in there. Ticketing system was easy enough - 20 minutes free. I see there's a machine in the station, which, if you put your ticket in up to 19 minutes, will then give you 20 minutes to get back to your car, gratis. Excellent :D

Don't fancy taking my estate car in there then! Although living only half a mile away I don't think I'll ever nee too.
Since they're taken the barrier fencing down, every time we drive past she says: "Want to go in there, Daddy".

I think the car park is a bit of a monstrosity and the green mesh makes it look like it's not finished.
what? i assumed that stuff was temporary while they finished it off?? in fact, i was just saying to the missus t'other day "i thought that place is supposed to be open now? it still looks like they're working on it"!

so, as it is now - is that it finished??

jesus wept, it looks awful..

I was led to believe that's how it's going to look. I think they're just landscaping around the edges now.

You could always catch the Overnighter 'Tesco Express' to Penkridge, if King Edgar should return.........

I actually quite like the look of it and I was against it when it first started...

Regarding the green mesh, all of the "vision" drawings of it had some plantage growing up the outside of it... I assume the green mesh will support this when it gets growing... could be wrong though.

The North end car park is now sign posted as Car Park 2 and has a barrier.

The other car park directly next to the station is permit holders only and there is a row separated by bollards for taxis.

They are super cooled conductors powering the underground fusion plant which will lift trains onto the soon to be built Norton Bridge Flyover for the " we wont ever stop at Stafford" crossrail high speed project betwixt Manchester and London

Or summat

I really dont think locals realise that to get a super fast high speed rail service between Manchester and London it cannot possibly stop at crumbly little places like Stafford and Stoke

Mr SCC cabinet member for infrastructure and regeneration ( sic ) must be after a job with NR reading between the 'lines'
