I had to make do with gum for a few hours before I found the spare but I've mended my good vape now so all's good again :)
I've decided I don't like citrus vape juice. Berry is ok but melon, lemon, tropical - yuk

The big electronic advertising sign at Greyfriars was advertising free E-liquid from the vaping shop opposite this morning.

Don't know what the terms and conditions are but enjoy anyway.

Just free? Go in and ask? Any idea if it’s still going?

It was still on the screen last week when I went past.

Here's the actual advert which is from today. The wording at the bottom says "one free 10ml bottle per customer", but I've no idea how much that is in vaping language. Enjoy anyway.

13 days since I last vaped and not had a single craving (for vape or fags!). I was beginning to suspect that although vaping is obviously better for you than cigarettes, it isn't actually that good for you to be inhaling anything really so decided to see how I went and it's been absolutely fine and I feel loads better too. so now I've got complete vape set up x two and a gazillion liquids to sell if anyone is interested.

Well done and Congratulations!!
I've been thinking of doing the same, although I've started a 1000 calorie diet so my vape is probably the only think stopping me from raiding the fridge .

You say you feel better for it , what are the changes you noticed ? Better lung ?

What have you got and what % nicotine are they? Still have yet to get some for the wife so I’ll see if she’s interested.

Absolutely big congratulations to you. Keep going, the freedom from not being a smoker is amazing.

The changes are immense. You have freedom of not being addicted. You don't have to interrupt your thought process or your day to stop and smoke or vape.

You don't get looked down on by other people.

Not many people will tell you to your face but honestly to watch a grown man or woman smoking or vaping just gives of the impression of "I'm a weak person"

Stopping smoking or vaping gives you back your health and your freedom, it releases you from addiction but most of all it gives you back your self respect.

And that feeling is a hundred times better than any cigarette or vape.

The best book I ever read is How to stop smoking the easy way by Alan Carr (not the comedian).

Well that just destroyed the last shred of self confidence I had left . Now I really am going to be paranoid when I go out lol. The walk from the petrol station station kiosk to the car is gonna be a killer ! Lol

Oh my goodness, I'm sorry. Take no notice of me.

You know that it's true that ex smokers are the worst for having a real hatred of smoking combined with a righteous, sanctimonious holier than thou attitude.

:hmm:

I agree with @Alee I think that is a little harsh. I'm not a weak person at all, most people who know me say I'm the strongest person they know. Most people on here don't know what I've been through and come out the other side. I gave up smoking a year ago and used vape to cope with the nicotine cravings, I never vaped in public and I really don't think people look down on you. I have plenty of self respect - I never thought I was weak for vaping. I'm just proud of myself. Full stop.
