Talk to me about... Energy Tariffs.

And if you've never swapped tariffs you must have money to burn.
I understand that swapping tariffs is not a 'one off' but a regular occurrence, something I could do without with a consultant fourteen years ago telling me that I had to take things easy for the rest of my life.

It's really no stress. Go with Octopus (I've a link that will give you £50 off), they'll do it for you all the time.

I'm not "happy" that the government sold the public utility companies so that there's now loads of businesses looking after their shareholders rather than their customers even though there's still the one electricity wire and one gas pipe coming into the house.
I could never do with the "stress" of going round Sainsburys, Tescos and the other big shops to find out which had the cheapest baked beans and it's no different.
I've already had more that enough "stress" with NPower, the Energy Ombudsman at least twice telling them that they had to apologise to me and pay me compensation. I never had that with the MEB who just properly did what they were meant to do.

NPower were always one of the worst IMO. There's a reason they wound up and merged into E.ON

My display was thrown in a drawer pretty much immediately.
My display has the green-amber-red lights at the bottom, which I find very useful, as it alerts me to any high power devices being on.

Most of the time mine is green, but it will move to amber, when certain devices are powered on or red when my car charger is operating at full power. Other than that I mainly rely on my Octopus app (linked to my Octopus mini).
