@That-Crazy-Rat-Lady has provoked an interesting banner at the bottom.

Do 'they' know something that we should?

Edit - I just spent quite a while trying to poke the 'Post Reply' button on the picture....

I always found it ironic that Wilco's sold rat food in one isle with adorable pictures plastered on the front...

The next isle along they sold rat killer with evil nasty ratty pictures on!

Make up your minds!

Ahhh ya gotta luv sellers and advertisers … they can make a city vaporizing thermonuclear explosion look like a warm glowing coke fire on a winter's night. :|

I'm being urged to book an appointment at Carpetright* in Hanley, "for finding the floor of your dreams".

I don't dream much and, apart from a basic supporting role, floors don't feature much in the ones that I do see.

* Presumably pronounced Carpetreet..?

I have taken issue a couple of times with advertisers or 'news' papers using stock images without properly looking. A Distress and Stir (Express and Star) article about a rodent infestation in Walsall was illustrated by a pic of a gerbil. I know it's a rodent but really 2 seconds looking at it properly other than, rodent? check, Tail? check would have told them they had the wrong picture. The latest is Amazon, there in the trap section are scaled down pics of most definitely chinchillas. Lazy, lazy illustrating. Unless of course somewhere does have a gerbil and chinchilla problem, in which case I'll be along directly to relieve them of their burden.

At work we had to price up a construction site welfare building with some squat toilets. Done plenty of these so nothing new. What was new was the 'anal douche'. I should not have googled that!

I didn't know either, had to look it up!

I remember some toilets like this in France years ago..... I'm still unsure of how ladies wearing trousers manage....

Do NOT search for the other item mentioned! Turns out they sell them on Amazon, the reviews are, well, eye opening to say the least

Although I'm now tempted to search Amazon just for the reviews....
