Peasantry Pantry opening in Stafford, soon.
100% vegan cafe, oh boy that'd get the animal eaters knickers in a twist.
Child, please.

You know very well that if there's someone on this thread that regularly gets their knickers in a twist, it's you. (Let us know if you'd like some examples to jog your memory.)

Not to be confused with Peasantry Panties, Soho!

Oh dear, Firstly let me put your mind at rest the majority of Stafford people would love to see a vegan restaurant in Stafford, especially if it was locally owned and sourced local fresh seasonal produce! Would a few people hate this restaurant, yes, but only because they would hate anything that wasn’t personally to their own beliefs, needs or desires. It has nothing directly to do with veganism it just that some people hate everthing which doesn’t match their own beliefs.

I also know that a combination of moral superiority and victimhood, the ‘we’re right, their wrong and they hate us for it’ group think is a great motivational driver and has been the cornerstone of religious / political activism since the dawn of time, but just take a moment to read through this thread, Nobody on this forum really gives a sh*t that your vegan you would get more grief if you said you supported Hendsford FC or drove a BMW.

Taken from their https://www.facebook.com/DominionDocumentary/ FaceBook page:
DOMINION is a new Australian documentary. Exposing the dark underbelly of modern animal agriculture through drones, hidden & handheld cameras, the feature-length film explores the morality and validity of our dominion over the animal kingdom. Premiered 29 March 2018 in Melbourne.
The Dominion Movement is a call to action for anyone who believes in the film’s message of a more ethical world.

This is considered normal, perfectly OK to treat these animals in this way.
The only way to stop this is to stop playing a part.

Turning away doesn't mean it's not happening.

I hope that those of you who aren't vegan and those of you that have empathy towards all animals, can view this (tough going i know) and consider making the step towards a vegan/plant-based diet.

Recent bite to eat at The Bear Grill.

I had the Bombay Bad Bear and my life what a burger, could this be the best vegan burger in Stafford!
The other two burgers in the pic are Mexicans.

I've asked and i hope Chris Lewis and team transfers the BBB to another of the Lewis Partnership's establishments, it'll be a shame to lose such a monster of a burger when The Bear closes.

Something worthwhile for when we come out of Brexit.

Michael Gove the Minister responsible for farming (as much as he's easily unlikeable) has just opened a government consultation on live animal transport.

Every year, live animals from British farms are transported hundreds, or even over a thousand, miles to places where they will be slaughtered or fattened for slaughter.
Animals are crammed into vehicles. Some are injured or trampled. They can be in transit for days, suffering extremes of temperature and can go without sufficient food, water or rest. Animals are sentient beings and feel pain and stress just like we do.
