Another lovely meal with great service again last night.

Apart from the Liverpool supporter waiting on that is, only joking Abdul :)

I had the Modu lamb and they made a special to suit my friend's tastes. Both really good dishes.
Yeh great to see you again Hooperman and your friend too. Glad you both enjoyed the meals.
I can highly recommend the chicken tikka Mo Salah for your next meal but I think it may be too Hot for you !! Ha ha

I see that there is a "bring your drinks in from over the road" system in place again, now that the Grapes is reopened, just as it was with the Coach & Horses at the old place.

A "surrogate licence", as I call it.

That'll save carrying the 2 pint cartons from the Bird assuming the beer's ok in the Grapes.

Does the Floodgate do takeouts? I'd guess that would be preferable to the Grapes.

Come and watch the champions league final
Liverpool v Real with me on Saturday night Hooperman.
After all that Man Utd v Chelsea game last Saturday was not worth your travel to Wembley.
If Liverpool WIN then the THAWA is on me but I know you said you'd rather pay for your meal ha ha
Enough said.
Come on you Reds beat those Real boys and bring the champions league home to England. YNWA.

If I have to pay it means Real have won so happy to do so. Viva Ronaldo.

Sorry, I can't make Saturday so I'll have to come for my free meal at a later date. Plus I'm not very good watching scousers crying into their curries :)

Does YNWA mean You Never Win Anything or have you just misspelt YAWN :)

Oh dear there goes my free curry, for once I don't mind paying.

Just heard that the order for the silver polish at Anfield has been cancelled once again :)

Good meal and a good night, although I slightly overslept today.....

I had to start driving later than planned due to having a heavy head and not being able to get up for some strange reason.

Now on the edge of Epping Forest waiting for my friend and talking to a lady who is the spit of the blonde one one from Abba Unfortunately she looks like Agnetha looks nowadays and not as she was in the 70s.

basil

don't mention the blinds

25 years of service to the people and the town of STAFFORD in the restaurant trade. A very proud moment and it was a fantastic way to celebrate the moment in the presence of the Mayor and Mayoress of STAFFORD.

I'm not surprised the restaurant is always full, the food is brilliant and Abdul and his wife are lovely.

The only problem with Abdul is that he's a liverpool fan. Trying to convince him to support Stafford rangers.

It doesn't look very full during the week which was one of the reasons we choose to go there this time.

Abdul's wife is a secret Man Utd fan but don't tell him :)

Only joking I don't think she is. I always have a bit of banter with Abdul about his poor choice of football team.
