Good. Don't get me wrong, on the few occasions that we did actually get to eat at the BH due to the erratic opening hours, the food was always very good. It was just all the snobbery and film flam that went with it that was the problem. If you've reigned that in, then you're onto a winner.
We'll see, but I've always enjoyed his food too so I'm looking forward to having that sort of stuff after golf rather than the bog standard offering most clubs do.
Back to the Bank House, they were very busy with outside tables yesterday, haven't quite streamlined a takeaway orders / system yet but the route 66 burger was as tasty as ever.
Went the other day, food and drink offering was good, and the staff were nice .

Am I being crazy here but surely just get people to pay up front for food and drink as is the case in most similar establishments in the town??
I think I've heard of the couple who didn't pay before too, at other business...
Indeed, the kind of people that do this usually have history...
The Parasols have at least been found and returned
By St Mary's, they didn't get very far...
A lot of pubs in town are now allowing you to have a tab, which I really like.
Take a card swipe, open a tab. I think most would be happy with this option (if they were intending to pay) Or cash upfront
There's no such thing as bad publicity: when "Spoons/Maccie's customers meet an upmarket diner
Oh dear. Not clever.
I suppose that’s what happens when you take public relations lessons from the LP.
Who is the LP?
The Lewis Partnership, I would imagine.
