As an outsider of the village when it first opened first visit was excellent, but few months on we never felt welcome in there, tried to book a table on a Saturday night reply was a very blunt we're full no further conversation or offers to accommodate another night or a following Saturday and going for a drink in there bar staff just look straight through you too eager to get back to chatting to the regulars standing around the bar area ! With customer service like that you don't get the impression they need extra customers.

We had such a bad experience the last couple of times that we visited, we haven't been back. It sounds as if the same people are working there. The surprise us that they were full. A private party?

A little bird who nests close by told me that last Saturday by 9.30pm the pub had zero diners and just two old blokes at the bar..

A rural pub has to be food led to have any chance of surviving so this sounds ominous. I really want it to work given that the villagers put so much effort into keeping the place open . I wonder how long the arrangement is with Titanic

Of the times I have been in the Holly Bush, each time I went to the bar to get served for a drink whilst waiting for the others in my party to fill up with milkshakes at the Milkstop vendor.....no one was around. I called out several times, no answer, the bar was deserted....

I'm suprised the place is still open?
