Is that a good thing or a bad thing? It's been taken over by the people who own The Mill at Worston.
Mmmm. Hopefully they will raise their game and be fitting successors for what was a fantastic place for a feed and a pint.Local reports suggest that it's so so at best.
An illustration that doesn't look remotely like a Holly Bush doesn't bode well.
I remember Marstons Pedigree and folk evenings at Worston Mill not long after it opened, and it wasn't much of a walk from Norton Bridge railway station.A few of us used to go to the Mill at Worston on friday lunchtimes years ago. They'd always moan at us that we should give them a call first to let them know how many were coming.
But it was three times as far walking backI remember Marstons Pedigree and folk evenings at Worston Mill not long after it opened, and it wasn't much of a walk from Norton Bridge railway station.
Wouldn't this one have been nearer?I remember Marstons Pedigree and folk evenings at Worston Mill not long after it opened, and it wasn't much of a walk from Norton Bridge railway station.
Yes but Great Bridgeford railway station closed when I was four and long before Worston Mill opened as a pub.Wouldn't this one have been nearer?

I think there's still a gap between the tracks where those middle two platforms were.
