Does anyone know if the Greyhound is being taken over by someone else. I know the owners are not locals

Joiners was always reliable for a decent pint of Guinness.

Called into the Holmcroft tonight to watch the United match and had the Smurf and Turf (no I didn't ask for my steak to be blue before you ask ).

The food is basic pub grub but my meal was really good quality, reasonably priced and I thoroughly enjoyed eating it.

Would recommend if you're not looking for anything too fancy.

The beers on the handpumps weren't to my taste but I called in for the footy and some food so as good old Meatloaf might say two out of three........
