Popped in to try the new menu the other day - I had a Hipster - @Goldilox had the Morrissey - amazing burgers, but not for the feint of heart - but I loved the brioche buns.

Going to try the Grilled Cheese next...

Indeed - i thought it worth pointing out that the cheese was not the only offending article in this concoction.

On closer inspection i'm not entirely sure what a 'fafafel' is - presumably a falafel that is twice the faff than is usual...

The Morrissey without Halloumi would only be suitable for Vegans if the beetroot aioli was substituted for beetroot puree, which is no problem with an advance request, and the brioche was substituted for Kaiser roll, which is no problem as we stock those for the Smoke n' Yolk sandwich.

This was my pre-Dean Friedman Alamo burger, in tribute to our American visitor - basically, a burger the size of a small dog, with a bowl of chilli on it, in a loaf of bread, with a pile of chips + the controversial pickled vegetables.

Moving onto the Meat Sweats. A half-pound burger with most of a pound of pork on top. The bun proved to be structurally unsound for the loading and I had to dismantle things a bit as I went along.

It is a little bit over-the-top, but I managed it...

How far in advance would I have to request the beetroot puree - are we talking minutes, hours or days?
Could I just walk in and get a Morrissey without Halloumi or beetroot on a Kaiser roll if I was really starving?
I assume I'd get a discount? =P
