Hmmm....their and people who attended from last night seem to differ considerably to your assessment if the pictures across social media are anything to go by.

I was tucked up by ten

Do people stay out after then when there's a war on?

No wonder the country is in such a state

Walked past following a very pleasant evening at the Swan at about 10.45 and it was totally dead. Reminded me of a post Christmas Wednesday evening.

Well they are hardly going to post on facebook 'Had a crap night, no bugger here' are they? Gotta say nobody I know goes there, and I know some people that think Casa is a good night out!

Are they still trying to attract 'out of towners'? Or do they let anyone from Stafford in now?

Yes people on here should be honest on here, but dumping on a place and business people who are trying to make a go at building a successful enterprise seems a bit negative to me.
Seems to me that there is a lot of negativity in Stafford, which is sad as Stafford is a much better place to live than other Midland towns.

People are saying it's dead, nobody is particularly saying it's crap despite their own personal opinion but they are saying it's dead. Is it dead? If so, why not discuss? Maybe it'd help them to know what we think they could do to attract us?

Personally I think the sort of people who went there are now in revolution.

I merely commented on what I saw. I have no axe to grind against the place and wish it well, like I do for all businesses in our town.

Indeed and Revolution are a big enough company to price a competitor out of the market

I agree with you that positive criticism can be beneficial but sometimes I see too much 'this is crap' on here (such as the market when it has, or had some very good stalls).
Taking on the Post House after the mismanagement and muddled thinking of the original owners is a tough gig for any new proprietor. Personally I am only an occasional drinker up town and normally Early Doors so my potential trade is mimimal. A live covers band on a Saturday night would attract me. Granvilles in Stone does well. Maybe a buffet style restaurant might do well.

I hope the Post House is a success. It's a fantastic building and could be a great venue (again) with the right management. I have no idea who is now managing the venue, hopefully they have nothing to do with the previous managers / owners.

I've never been a regular at the PH, however following too many bad experiences I am reluctant to go back their any time soon until I see / hear some improvement. So far, I've seen nothing.

The PH should be one of the best venues in Stafford, however I fear it's lost its way and it's former punters have gone elsewhere.
