I bought a box-set of The Prisoner last week, in the Save The Children shop, and have just watched Episode 1. I'm going to try to watch one at the same time every week, just like real telly used to be.

Well, Episode 2 tonight of my weekly Prisoner series.

It occurs to me that I may never have seen it in colour before..

When you've watched the last episode, watch the first episode again, it sort of makes sense.

Seedling Senior worked for a fornight at Portmerion in the hotel on the complex where the series was shot, last year. Had a great time, and was fully imbued with the Prisoner culture, on a loop in the hotel tele feed. Lovely place and have visited myself many years ago with The Venerable Mrs Seed. Well worth a visit, and if you take the most direct route, its a decent drive over the mountains! 3 Hrs ish

It was on late, I think there must have been football or something.

..and rather dark it was, too..

Reminded me that the PCC election is on Thursday.

Episode 6 tonight, not quite as good as last week's..

Episode 7 tonight - real television - not a word spoken in the first twenty minutes, then just one German phrase...

Episode 8 tonight - quite good, and got better as it went on..

Episode 9 tonight - quite a good one.

Contains Peter Wyngarde in a karate suit.

Well, after a hiatus for the Christmas schedule, it was episode 10 tonight - and it was excellent, too.

Derren Nesbitt as the other Number 2 does look like he's escaped from Thunderbirds..

Episode 12 tonight, from a time before being 'unmutual' became government policy..

Episode 13 tonight, contained almost no McGoohan, except as a voice-over for the actor playing the chap that his mind had been transferred into, but did contain a paternoster lift.

Episode 14 - the 'Western' one - not the best, but still good..

Episode 15 tonight - particularly good, I thought.
