I drove through Haughton earlier this evening and the Shropshire was in darkness.

Eventually got to the Red Lion, after all these years, i can see why it needed someone in to save it and resurrect it to a new glory.

Only popped in to have a sandwich and a mooch/nose around so i knew what it looked like, before the major refurb.

The potential is huge and i'm sure the Lewis Partnership will make this place great, Bradley is going to be more the better for it.

Chap who i spoke to (brother of the manager there) told us a little about what is going to be done and when and it sounds great, open it out but never taking away the character of the place.

I'll be soon in when it's complete.

Hope the ghosts don't take offence

I see that there is now a view of the church.

Leylandii hedge removed, to be replaced by a less over-imposing native species hedge shortly.

We have a couple bats that fly around our garden at night ... I have wondered where they are roosting.

Went here last night and have to say the food was fabulous and the service friendly in particular the lovely waitress (wearing glasses) for those who haven't been yet what are you waiting for?
