OK, so I was in there from half-past four to about six o'clock today.
It is OK - I would go as far as to say that its like you're not really in Stafford...
People, few of whom I had seen before, were turning up with the clear intention of eating.
Those eaters that I did know were prepared to offer glowing reports of the food on offer.
I have a good feeling about the place.
I was expecting it to have an 'accidental' fire and be replaced by cardboard houses. This is vastly preferable.
My understanding is that the Sharp's stuff will be regulars, and the other two will vary over time.Ales available yesterday were:
- Sharp’s Atlantic
- Sharp’s Doom Bar
- Adnams’ Ghost Ship
- Shepherd Neame’s Spitfire
I had a Spitfire followed by a Ghost Ship. Both decent enough pints.
Also some interesting ciders and lagers on tap for those who are into that kind of thing.
