Stafford Castle.
The Vikings are coming!
A hoard are setting up a village here at Stafford Castle so prepare for battles in the inner Bailey. We have archers on site who can show you how to defend your family and a workshop for children to make an axe and shield too.
The little grey horse box will be here with their amazing coffee and teas to keep you refreshed. A wonderful smokehouse Bbq will provide family options from sausage on a stick to a full on Viking Burger. Both of these accept cash or card.
Ice creams are available in our visitor centre.
Relax in the family games area or pop into the tower to dress up and learn about arms and armour or even mint your own coin. We will also have owls and birds of prey in the woodland to see.
Open from 11am till 4pm Entry is free and we encourage visitors to walk, make use of public transport or just get dropped off by a friend.
If you do drive, all day parking is £5 per car. This payment is taken on arrival and is cash only please.
