I would imagine it's Nepal, or possibly Bhutan. Ecuador must be up there too, and Chile would be somewhere in the running.

It depends on how you gauge it.

Ecuador has the point on the Earth's surface which is the furthest from the centre of the Earth - if that is the thickest bit..?

Actually, the Earth bulges more at the equator, and what with the Andes rising to a considerable thickness within a reasonably small area of land mass, maybe Ecuador could pip it.

Still going to stick with Nepal, though. The crust must be thicker there, and within a smaller total area.

I suppose it boils down to whether you include the entire nation in the calculation to amass an average thickness, or whether you take a cross-section approach. If the latter, then surely Nepal wins it outright?

Ecuador is the most boring nation i've ever been to.

Which i suppose is somewhat ironic if they have the point on Earth that needs the most boring.

My impressions of Ecuador will always be tarnished by the fact that when i got there it was closed. Literally - there was not a single place open - i was very hungry and in serious need of a drink and it was only a bit after midnight. Not a single eatery or drinkery open.

This would never happen in Peru. Never. Peru does not close.

You don't get a second chance to make a first impression, so they say. Ecuador totally blew it - go to Peru instead.

Of course

These people are making a statement

The statement reads: We can't afford to go to the World Cup so let's cause havoc for a criminal because we are trying to highight other criminals by committing crime

I'm fairly certain a number of these will come from the 6th poorest ( thickness? ) region in Europe, which just happens to be Staffordshire and Shropshire

The World Cup has done wonders for my next door but one neighbours business. He's had to watch the England games on a tv on his front as he has that many customers calling he'd miss the game. Half time was especially busy as they'd all finished what they had bought to start the game. How some of them could see to drive is beyond me.
