Never even heard of it?

However, tonight we have the new series of Heroes starting, the second episode of Prison Break, and there's still Weeds and The 4400 running, so I have plenty to keep me occupied. Finally started watching Life on Mars last night too - I have about a months worth of TV to catch up on!

I'd never seen it, but have both series on my PC at the recommendation of my mum. Couldn't sleep last night, so watched 5 or 6 episodes. So far I'm very impressed, could see a few things coming a mile off but its an enjoyable series. Went to bed about half 4 this morning!

Just watched Prison Break S3, E1 and i'm loving it. One of the best series I have ever watched but so few people have seen it with it being on channel 5 and now Sky 1.

Also cannot wait for Heroes S2 but its not as good as PB.

I was a fan of Threshold. I was also devastated to find out that it's funding was canned. It was quite a hit over here but apparently the US found the plot to hard to follow and it didn't catch on. They never even completed the first series - which you will know if you have watched it. They did film the one, final missing episode (rumour has it) but it never made it to post production.

Mega miffed!

I need closure! :grr:

I can confirm that the entire series was to comprise of 14 episode, 14 never made it.

If we could all have a moments silence for episode 14 people <removes hate - solemn silence>.

Futurama? Technically not canned - I believe there was a dispute between Fox and Matt Groening. Fox was greedy and said they wanted all the rights to it otherwise they wouldn't air it - Groening gave them the finger. If you look on Wikipedia it states that Fox decided they didn't like it anymore... not the version I heard.

There was a contractual obligation lasting a set number of years, once this has expired Groening can fire the project up again with whomever he likes. IMDB actually list several new episodes as being in post-production now and in 2008. Not long to wait ;)

:yay:

indeed.. futurama's return has been officially on the cards for a while now:

That link said:
Futurama is back, and now we know in what form. The show will return on November 27th as a full-length high-def film sold on DVD. It will be followed by three additional films, and each film will be divided into four episodes each to be aired on Comedy Central. So, that's 4 DVD movies or 16 new episodes depending on how you look at it.

Never used it myself, but there's a fairly new site for finding TV episodes out. Most appears to be links to other sites, but if it means there's only one place to look it can't be all bad. Take a look at tioti.com.
