Jeeze you lot, anyone would think N'orf End was as bad as Doxy!

:bum::bum::bum:
I used live up N'orf End (Crab Lane) (Loved it) and am right by Doxey, (Castletown) (Not so keen). There's a few who have spoilt it for the majority.

Crab Lane is classed as Holmcroft, so it's posh. Everyone who lives in N'orf End now pretends they don't by calling it 'Tillington' or 'Common Ward'..... Eeeejits, you all still live in N'orf End!

As you say, the same here, there's a few that have spoilt it for the rest of us...

Actually, Crab Lane is Trinity Fields, an awful lot posher/nicer than Holmcroft. And Parkside!

To be fair we’re south end and last week the police arrested a bloke who decided to take a run through our front gardens, pursued by a plain clothes police officer. I love being so close to town but it’s definitely a bit ropey at the moment.

We were much posherer up Coton Fields. That is: if you can call Trilby hats, black and white spat shoes and large suspicious looking bulges under our armpits posh.:P

That sounds a lot like plague, please retire to your bunker and remain, (ignore the sound of cement trucks arriving)

I grew up in Beech Way but left when I was 8 because our house was burgled.

Got / had family and friends that lived in Pitt Street, First Avenue, Young Avenue and Craddock Road. I don't consider those areas rough.

I now live in the south end but regularly take my children to the new park at Holmcroft.
