I met George in town this morning and reminded him of Thursday's great event. I was informed that he (still) has his bad leg and is continuing to formulate plans to leave the area (destination unspecified, possibly Crewe). I personally suspect that these plans my not come to fruition before Thursday. I didn't mention the Wednesday evening pre-view as that seems to be associated with the Facebook page and I suspect that George does not have a Facebook page...

Well as it turns out i was gifted an entrance to last night's event, superb evening was had great to to see young Brian back behind the the bar and being joined by mine host of 1970-1976 (Ashley) was most touching........

I too popped down there, looks nice inside although very busy as you'd imagine so couldn't get a great look around or a great look at the beers on offer.

Did glance a menu though and the food sounds delicious and seems reasonably priced.
