Is that High Offley Church in the background, just about what used to be the Royal Oak ?Today I got out of the house for the first time since a week last Thursday (Chemo 2.) Went for a walk around the village common which isn't like normal village commons, a flat bit of grass, but a completely given back to nature bit of land with good access paths, ancient sites where a castle once stood and wild life galore. A pure pleasure common ....
Good paths:

Bit misty ... (sea mist rolled in this morning) but thoroughly enjoyed the walk. I needed to get out, was starting to go a bit stir crazy.

My mistake.Fraid not Mudgie. I don't live in Stafford anymore. That's Kilkhampton Church in North Cornwall. For your info two pubs in the village, The New Inn (my local) and the London Inn, both good pubs.
One motorcycle hooligan looks much like any other. My mistake.
I was confusing you with the Woodseaves resident.
Easily done ... I do have that air of sophistication one associates with Woodseaves ....

I used to play on the Rec. Gran lived in one of the cottages in Littleworth by The Gate Pub ( as I know it from my days.). Didn't know that was the posh part of those them partsI started out as a Rec Kid. Then I moved up in the world, and lived in Littleworth. (What's known at sea as coming up through the hawsepipe.) Yes, it has to be said, I've always been a bit swarf and suffisti**ckingcated.
