Call 111, they’ll refer you, usually you won’t actually get through to the community practice they give you but you’ll be on the system or whatever I guess.
At that point, you can call up and say you’ve gotten a referral from 111 but the number they gave isn’t picking up (if that is true, it was for me) and they’ll potentially be able to take you as an emergency appointment. This is basically what happened to me in 2021, if you can say you’re flexible and can wait around for a gap that helps too. Despite what it says online Friar Terrace aren’t open on Saturdays.
If you can take ibuprofen, turns out 800mg every 6 hours is safe for short term use… I had my old dentist’s personal number so dropped him a message late last year when the tooth flared up one Sunday evening, he explained my tooth had gone non-vital and it’d be a root or pull. He also told me 800mg ibuprofen and it made the world of difference tbh.
