Cuffy is the new skill
that radio 1 prick James King was reviewing it/slagging it of and actually just said; "if you want an epic, robot movie with explosions and car chases etc then great, fill your boots" implying he thought it was shit.

I have not been so excited about a film release for yonks! Forum outing to the cinema on Saturday anyone?
Depends if I've recovered from Friday night, and if I become overcome with a desire to restring my guitar.

** EDIT ** Got the day wrong, how embrassiering :)

oh my god.. i just got back from watching this, and i cannot describe how good it is.. i swear to god, it is honestly the coolest film i have ever seen! obviously not the best film, but without doubt the coolest.. i desperately want to tell you all about my favourite bits, but i don't want to spoil it for anyone!

it's 2½ hours long, so i thought it was really going to drag, but it didn't feel like it at all! if i could have done, i honestly would have been happy to go straight back in the cinema and watch it all again.. i have never felt that about a film before..

this film is amazing.. i can't say it enough.. go and see it at a decent cinema, and bring a clean pair of keks - you'll need 'em :fap:

edit: my only criticism would be that they don't use the original theme tune at all.. surely that is a massive missed opportunity for one of the most awesome remixes of all time? :(

i went to see this last night and thought exactly the same thing...so not to be defeated, me and my mates exited the cinema to a rather poor rendition sung by yours truly.

lol i forgot about that bit.. i can't believe some people (elsewhere) are complaining about the comic relief in the film - i thought all the send-ups were hilarious and really well done.. i wasn't expecting such a large comedy element, so was presently surprised when i found myself roffling in the cinema aisle! :D

Was in Sainsbury's in Cannock the other day, and found the original animated film on DVD.
For £1.99.

Guess who's chuffed? :)

best film ever makes other films look like arse. End of story.

It has machines, a fit bird, weapons, fights, stuff getting trashed, what more can a red blooded male want

"I just wanted to show him my canons." What a line!

Much bottom whooping. Fantastic. Not much eye candy for the ladies but the film was so good it never entered my mind. Spent most of movie thinking how silly it was to keep the mean dude in the freezer - duh!

Best (i.e. worst). Soundtrack. Ever.

"You got the touch
You got the powerrrrr"

Or whatever. Eric Idol's voiceover is also so bad it's not really good but kind of is.
