I found this home-made poster in the rear window of, perhaps surprisingly, a white van - in Malvern.

But I nevertheless admire UKIP for actually starting a process of being able to talk about immigration in the UK. For too long in this Country there has been this bizarre idea that if you want to have a discussion about immigration then you are automatically a xenophobe or a racist.

Its an issue that because it gets hijacked by this dismissive argument there is little or no rational information about the pro's and cons and the best route forward.

At least UKIP have a clear position that you can either agree or disagree with. I really don't have much of a clue what all the others think about immigration.

Immigration certainly seems to be a big one on your radar, to my mind it's not and we elect and pay others to manage this and other issues so that we can enjoy the finer/funnier things in life. Obviously a concise opinion but i'd hazard s guess pretty accurate. The most outstanding British trait that foteigners id apart from baf teeth and manners is our dislike of troublemakers......

Yes, if you are a real Christian, but there is a train of thought that keeping quiet may be a form of tacit approval.

Not sure if that one is directed at me - anywho immigration isn't a massive issue for me although I do believe we should have an open debate about it and have more information and less hysteria. UKIP maybe on the fringes of hysteria but at least they have a position.

Funny thing is that many of those of have come to this country over the past 50 years are of the opinion that immigration needs stricter controls. I suppose I'll be told that only white English people are racist
