I know this will be a controversial thing to say, but it probably doesn't help that it costs £12 to get in.
The seasoned fans will undoubtedly go on a regular basis, regardless of the price, and many will have season tickets, but on many occasions I've been put off by the price. To be honest, the quality of the football I've seen on previous visits to Marston Road doesn't warrant this much money.
I realise though that, due to the stature of the club and traditionally low gate reciepts, a relatively high entrance fee may be seen as the only way to recoup some money, but if enough people out there feel the same as me, then surely a bit of a drop on price would result in increased attendance, and hence revenue.
Not the most informed opinion in the world, admittedly, but that's how it seems - I know I would have gone a lot more were it not for the cost of getting in.
Having said that, it would be an almighty shame to see them go down the tubes, and I hope they find a way out. Can't go at the weekend though as I'm in London.
