Virgin media in ST17 area

It's very strange. I've found that both Spotify and Netflix have no issues, yet trying to get on a simple webpage can take up to 15 minutes.

Playstation Network doesn't respond whatsoever.

My printer has given up the ghost today as well. Was going to buy a new one tomorrow . This will be a task trying to install the printer software on the laptop.... Not even letting me update MSE antivirus as connection has problems and keeps saying I'm not protected !

My suspicion is that they're attempting some form of server switch to cache things like Spotify and Netflix as they have done with YouTube. I may be entirely wrong though.

I'm coping, although it's not ideal. Web surfing is okay but I have to refresh some pages 2 or 3 times to get them up. Anything involving banking or transactions I'm doing via my mobile data instead as VM isn't currently reliable enough for that.

I've seen rumours elsewhere that suggest this packet loss problem isn't just affecting ST16 and 17 but much wider spread. I don't know if there's any truth in that though.

My little one is streaming you tube no problem at all but web sites are impossible this morning. Currently using mobile data.

From the Virgin service status page. If anything is fixed today I will be amazed.
