Any interest in a thread where someone posts odd locations in Stafford, to be 'found' by Forumites? Whoever finds one posts the next picture - and so on.

General rules would be something like -

Plainly visible from a publicly accessible location.
Not ambiguous, i.e., not just a particular lamp-post..
Photographed as they would appear to a passer-by.
Generally within Stafford town area, i.e., inside the ring of 30 mph signs.

Yesterday's talk of pacemakers reminded me of this sign, barely ten feet from a busy road.

I love things like this! Just been scanning my phone gallery to see if i had any suitable pics-unfortunately only rooftop pics/skylines from the office. Therefore, in your "ambiguous" class. Have got some locations in mind tho. Pretty sure The Newsletter used to do this, with answer & new pic the next week. The Sentinel still does, but not of Stafford!

Get out there and get some pictures stored up, then just guess whatever it is that Chick posts up for the next one and it'll be your turn...

It is - OK, now it's your go.

It's here - always makes me wonder when I walk past and there's an old codger coming the other way....

I couldn't find anything suitable on the photos I've already got on my phone but I'll be out and about in Stafford tomorrow so will see what I can snap and post it

Excellent - perhaps people feeling the urge to follow this might like to have one, or more, in stock as we get going...?
