Voodoo Ray Lichfield - My Opinion

Presenting a bucket of warm soapy water, and a sponge to a hormonal teenager, in the middle of watching iCarly, and asking her to wash your Ford Mondeo, may produce some interesting emotional responses. It isn't my idea of fun, but if you have an overwhelming desire to have unfinished work, done by a petulant, over emotional, resentful child, you might find this satisfies this desire for you.

Now I'm not going to judge you. I respect people's sexual and lifestyle choices. To some this is the pinnacle of 'customer service' and I speculate they might come away from the experience with a warm glowing satisfaction. Now, if you want to pay for this type of humiliation I have heard that there are many professional people that would gladly offer this service to you with an understanding of what you would like to achieve.

Likewise if you enjoy talking to pleasant but forgetful, lethargic men you may choose to put this desire to charitable use by reading to the residents of a local nursing home. Or perhaps you have a relative like this, in which case spend more time with them.

Unsurprisingly I don't enjoy these things. I don't mind paying for a job when it gets done. I can handle a fourteen-year-old's tantrums, but would rather not part with cash to listen to them. You might say I was an ordinary guy with an ordinary sex life and an ordinary wish for decent services. If you are like me and enjoy things like getting a good job finished by helpful professional people, or just dislike teenage moodiness and lethargy you may like to avoid Voodoo Ray in Lichfield.

I think it's a daft attempt at advertising for voodoo ray in Lichfield - who is in fact a tattoo artist.

Mention the name, talk rubbish so people out of curiosity google the name lol

It'd be a helluva weird ad for them with this in there!

I never would have clicked, but I think Tinkerbell might be onto something! If you google "Presenting a bucket of warm soapy water" it brings up a few other results, so it's clearly a cut-and-paste job either way.

Seeing as there are no links in the post though, and jim jim jaroo is a legitimate Forumite, I'll just leave it, I suppose! :P

The message at the top of the forum is clearly a troll type of message. There is absolutely no mention of tattooing, just derisory comments designed to damage a business (by a competitor maybe?). I have had a number of Tattoos by Ray and cannot recommend them highly enough. I had a backpiece completed by Ray, yesterday (28.07.12) which is excellent.
Also, no one in the shop even drives a Mondeo........... I wouldn't believe anything that has been typed in the original message, it is complete and utter rubbish.

Knowing the person who posted at the top, he's not a troll (and definitely not a competitor) just someone who wanted something fixed that VR hadn't done quite right and was told he would be charged when it had been clearly stated at the time of tattooing that anything like that would be done for free. Having said that I too have a back piece done by Ray and it is excellent and my touch up work had been done for free...Just in case it wasn't clear, he's not disputing their work - it's their customer service which was appalling.

Interesting first post though...

I thought that this section was about pubs & eating out. Has anyone ever eaten a tattoo artist?

The original forum looked like this - and this particular post was originally in 'Out & About - Events, places to go, restaurants, etc', which was rather more broad in its scope of things.

Recent posts about Doxey Marshes have appeared in this section also, for example, despite the Marshes being neither a Pub nor somewhere to Eat Out.

Thanks, knew the Forum had changed at some time before I joined but I hadn't realised it was that recently.

Suppose you could always take a picnic out to the Marshes but does that count as a place to eat?

Hi fugkysuck, welcome to Stafford Forum. :)

I have to admit, I was so perplexed by the original post that I didn't really know what to do with it. It didn't seem positive or negative, just bizarre, so I thought best to leave it!

I have had a number of Tattoos by Ray and cannot recommend them highly enough. I had a backpiece completed by Ray, yesterday (28.07.12) which is excellent.

Feel free to start a new thread for Voodoo Ray in general, and post your experiences; then hopefully it will garner more responses, and will show up in a more positive aspect in Google searches, etc. :)

I am glad we agree about VR, but I don't understand the corrolation between what is said and what is meant!!!!!!!!!!!!!
