Are you looking for an experienced Head Chef who is passionate about creating delicious meals using fresh, local produce?

I have been a Chef for 20+ years, starting from a pot washer and commis chef in kitchens, and working my way up through the ranks to Head Chef and Kitchen Manager, whilst gaining valuable knowledge and skills on the way. As well as having necessary catering qualifications, I have worked in a variety of hospitality environments, including 4* hotels, conference and banqueting, weddings, corporate and private events, contract catering as well as restaurant and bistro experience.

I have extensive kitchen management experience, including costing, stock and wastage control and menu creation, promotion and development. I pride myself on working with fresh, locally sourced produce in traditional establishments, being creative with food and not only meeting but exceeding GP & sales targets whilst also keeping high levels of hygiene control and health and safety in the kitchen.

I have yes and been in touch with them, unfortunately they're after a line chef on minimum wage and wouldn't employ me due to my experience etc. Am doing some contract catering work so just hoping something more permanent comes along soon!
