It's interesting to see Stafford being used as a pilot scheme for better visibility for the highstreet (along with Cheltenham, Stroud & Lemington) - focussing on Twitter & Instagram

There's a big launch event in the market square on Friday

I have noticed better visibility of local shops on my streams - I've also seen better visibility of Stone traders with them using a smaller scale of this system on facebook with a page - Stone Independent Traders

I'd love to see a Stafford version of this, but I'm a bit pressed for time but would be happy to work with a few people in curating it (sharing posts from other pages, collecting info etc) if there's any appetite for being central to the promotion of shops in Stafford.

More the balloon look than the barrel look today! Don't trust a professional photographer
