What are kids really learning at schools???????

Just got back from work, and a bunch of pubescent teenager started yelling at me, telling me to go back to Africa...AFRICA. Like WTF! I not even from Africa (Asian origin) what are they actually learning in their lessons in school.

no not suggesting teaching racism its more like finding out what kids are actually learning at school

its just getting ridiculous how these kids are trying to act cool when they are in their group of friends and yet getting their facts and information wrong

I'm actually quite surprised by this. I would have thought racism was getting less with each generation. I mean many of the "role models" of the younger generation will be black these days.

I suspect the kids you encountered were just nasty little bast*rds that would have said anything to get a reaction "for a laugh".

this could be true, But I get racially abuse like few times a month by people like these... they will never learn and most of them will probably end up on the streets

This morning as part of our Multicultural Studies course we will be looking at the diverse ethnic groups currently resident in the UK.

As a cross-curricular activity, according an accreditation for the Geography element of this particular key stage, we will be asking this core, crucial question;

"Exactly to where should we tell each ethnic group to "F*ck off home to?""

Extra merit shall be awarded to archaic references to former perceived glories.

Now, if you would open your books to page 94...

What do kids learn at school? Okay so basic maths and english are still there, as is spanish, french and german (my daughter wanted to learn manderin chinese but it was over subscribed!)
PE is again basic (as in what we all done) - computers (again email, way round pc word and powerpoint docs), science last term was body parts (which bored her) but she enjoyed the term before which was "eyeballs"
History she has done recently king charles 2 & 3rd and marie antoinette! last term it was tony blair and she watched a video on him!
art is art!
Okay now the geography! - even i dont know what they learn here she has mentioned clouds - but she has asked for a world globe for christmas so she can see where everything is - this i would say is the "not right" bit.
RE recently was Hindus, Christians and Muslims.

I think to put a nutshell shes learnt more from her momma, sister and google, kids are bored today at school! Racism is still around but only in tiny pockets, but i agree i think its in their upbringing from home, not school they carry on what they hear from parents etc- My daugther loves everything about Japanese/Chinese culture and people, she follows her momma

We've only had two so far - though i believe the next one is considering using one of his other names if he ever gets there.

I wish it was true but unfortunately there is still the hard core element who indoctrinate their children. Often poorly educated, never been anywhere and tend to breed in the same gene pool.
