After suggesting the Detectorists to someone who hadn't seen it, i became immediately jealous that they were about to watch something wonderous, and have just finished watching it all again.

The final series of 'Doc Martin.' Definitely up to standard. Martin Clunes is just so good in this. I like grumpy doctors (I was a House fan as well.) For me this is a good day for grumpy doctors, not that I'm saying the lady I met today was grumpy, but she does tell it how it is, and I find as you get older you become less and less tolerant of bullshit. (Hence the 'brick wall' and the '.50 calibre machine gun.')

I'm not getting Maudling here, I'm still here, and intend to be for some time (there's so many people out there I haven't annoyed yet ... :heyhey::P)

PS ... just in case the guy with the black hood and the scythe does turn up, I intend to kick him in the nads. 🤪

Just finished watching The Boys......wrong and so perfect on so many many levels!

Not one for the prudish, easily offended or grossed out by quite frankly very graphic content....but if thats your thing....Highly recommend it!

Finally saw the infamous "Spock's Brain" episode of Star Trek last night. It is not without it's charm but it wouldn't have been half as bad had Kirk not spent half of the episode shouting "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH SPOCK'S BRAIN?!" at random alien women.

Downloaded and watched the latest 'Jurassic Park Dominion' of the Jurassic Franchise. OK, lots of dinosaurs, superb special effects, relentless action almost to the point of tedium. One nice thing about it though, it reunites the cast of the original Jurassic Park, (frighteningly now almost 30 years old, and for me still the best one) as Sam Neill, Laura Dern, B.D. Wong and of course Jeff Goldblum unite with Chris Pratt and Claire Dearing from more recent efforts.
If you like dinosaurs (and I do, but I'm starting to think they're flogging an extinct allosaurus with each film here) then you'll love it.

I saw it in the cinema a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. The only other movie I've seen in the franchise was the first one which probably helped since I've not seen all the previous attempts to rehash the same scenarios and action sequences, it was all fresh to my eyes!
